	Tragedy in Kansas Tornado - National Guard Strained By Violence in Iraq CNN reports that 12 have died in a deadly tornado in Kansas. The National Guard has struggled with rescue efforts, strained by the deployment of many Guard units and equipment to Iraq. Rescue efforts have been hampered by a woeful shortage of trucks, humvees and other equipment that has been diverted to the fight in Iraq.
